Description
A lap joint flange (LJF flange) is also called loose flange, it has two components, a stub end and a loose backing flange. Stub end is butt welded to the pipe and backing flanges freely moves over the pipe. LJF flange is particularly used for frequent dismantling or hard-to-adjust pipe connection.
